"12 Cocktails of Christmas" Cherish Lee’s Paloma de Igor

Do you have a family tradition you love to do each Christmas?  Now that I am married and we have our son, Wyatt, our tradition has been to spend Christmas in Texas with all of our family.

Do you have a favorite Christmas movie? I have quite a few!  It’s hard to choose between Elf, White Christmas and Home Alone.

What about a favorite Christmas food?  Do you cook a big Christmas dinner?  I love gingerbread cookies and really anything sweet is good with me.  My family always does a big Christmas meal which can be stressful, but we have a lot of fun cooking it.

What is your favorite Christmas song/album? My dad, Johnny Lee, his Christmas album is really good, but we also love the classic Christmas music.  We play that constantly and we already started it up a few weeks ago!

Any New Year’s resolutions? I usually use my birthday as a time to make resolutions, but I recently watched a documentary about minimalism which was really inspiring.  I want to do that!

What is 2019 going to look like for you? Well, I’ll be hitting the road to do a little touring early in the year.  I’m also planning to get back in the studio to record some great new material that myself and some great writers have been working on!

About Cherish Lee: Daughter of entertainment icons, Johnny Lee (Urban Cowboy’s “Lookin’ for Love”) and Charlene Tilton (Lucy Ewing on hit TV show “DALLAS”), Cherish has been around the limelight her entire life. Her father helped to open many doors in country music — taking her on the road, performing at the infamous Ryman Auditorium and The Grand Ole Opry. However upon moving to Nashville, this Los Angeles native has solidified her own name in Music City. The release of her album, Tequila Cowgirl, at the beginning of the year followed her title of Billboard’s Country Artist to Watch and landed her a sponsorship with the luxuriously crafted G4 Tequila as well as boasting two successful singles. Her current release, Ones You Leave Behind, delves into life after loss — a feeling all too familiar to Cherish who lost her brother to a heroin overdose. She has used this song to spread the important message of the dangers of the growing opioid epidemic in notable places such as CMA Music Festival, Tin Pan South Songwriter’s Festival, Today In Nashville and Dollywood. With a tour and new music expected in early 2019, Cherish continues to capture fans across the country with honest and powerful storytelling and the blend of her classic country roots with a little rock ‘n’ roll edge.
