Come See What the Buzz is All About - Sunday, Oct. 20, 1-4 PM
Where Musical Visions Come to Life
Ridenour Academy is not your ordinary facility where music lessons take place. It is an exciting new division of Ridenour Rehearsal Studios where world-class, industry-standard performance, vocal and instrumental training on most instruments are offered with their “all roads lead to the stage” approach. Teachers who are handpicked, accomplished musical professionals and have a great love for educating and inspiring future artists and musicians are available to help students reach their musical goals and bring their musical visions to life. Lessons are not only designed to coach instrument proficiency, mechanics and song interpretation, but also mic technique, body language and stage blocking/movement. With their one-of-a-kind “opening act” and “headliner” programs, upon completion of the course, students have the opportunity to showcase their progress in a concert setting for family and friends. Whether you are a new or experienced musician, Ridenour’s private music lessons will help to develop skills and take students talent to the next level. “At Ridenour, we pride ourselves in offering clients a one-of-a-kind environment to bring their music to life with the best equipment available. We know exactly what it is you are looking for as all of us are musicians too,” added Keith Ridenour, President. Eventually, Ridenour hopes to expand offerings to include workshops, live recordings, concerts, and even music camps.
The Academy is led by industry veteran, Dave Brooks, one of the most accredited studio vocalists and coaches. Brooks has been involved in the music industry for over 25 years, coaching top singers and songwriters and as a sought after session singer, songwriter, and producer himself. His voice has been featured on national network campaigns for ABC, NBC, CBS, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Wheel of Fortune, and a host of commercial advertisements, including the dairy industry’s “Milk Does a Body Good” campaign and Wendy’s “99 Cent Value Menu” campaign. Brooks is the co-author of the web’s best-selling vocal instruction course, Singing Success. Some of the artists Dave has worked with include: Gladys Knight, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, James Ingram, Kix Brooks (Brooks & Dunn), Mark Kibble (Take 6), Montgomery Gentry, and Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actress and producer, Debbie Allen. Ridenour will host an open house on Sunday, October 20th from 1-4 p.m. The studios are located at 1203 Park Avenue in Murfreesboro. Instructors will be available to meet students and parents and to answer questions and provide a tour of the facilities.
Industry professionals, Derek Assaf, CEO, and Ridenour opened their doors less than one year ago in effort to tap into the thriving music scene in Middle Tennessee and to provide musicians and teachers with a fun, creative, unique yet affordable “home” to share their music and in a short time, this well-kept secret in Murfreesboro has created quite a buzz within the music community offering a new alternative. There is nothing else like it in the area.

Their extensive list of clientele includes the likes of Rick Springfield, Jason Bonham (Foreigner/Sammy Hagar), Poison, Arturo Sandoval, Prince Royce, Nico McBrain, and many more.
