The 28th Annual Celebrity Softball Game returned to First Tennessee Park on Saturday, June 9 during CMA Fest week. We talked with some of the celebrity talent before they took the field about their favorite part of a baseball game- the baseball stadium food.

Bobby Bones- I will either eat some grilled chicken with asparagus or I will just eat full on sugar. But really I do like nachos if I am going to a ball game.

Walker McGuire-

Jordan Walker- sunflower seeds

Johnny McGuire- sunflower seeds or almonds depending on how hot it is

Smithfield-

Trey Smith- Clif Bars if I am playing and a classic hot dog if I am watching the game

Jennifer Fiedler- A big turkey leg

Brett Kissel- It’s not a food, it’s just drinking beer. And I am getting pretty good at it. I am a dad now, and after a long day of playing music, or chasing around my kids, cracking a cold beer is like a right of passage that dads have.

Lucas Hoge- A hot dog for sure with sauerkraut, mustard, and jalapenos. Hot dogs, cracker jacks, and cotton candy.

Gabby Barrett- Does pizza count? It’s a very unhealthy answer, but if I am being honest it’s pizza. I am so plain jane, I like plain pizza with just the cheese and light sauce. I cannot stand a lot of sauce.

Caleb Lee Hutchinson- I eat everything. I would say a good ballpark frank hot dog. I would chow down on that with everything on it. The more calories the better.

Team Grand Ole Opry defeated Team iHeart 6-5 in extra innings.
