BRANDON COLLINS PREMIERES HIS DEBUT SINGLE BLAME IT ON NASHVILLE

Featured on the Academy of Country Music's ACM New Music Friday Playlist

Brandon Collins' debut release Blame It on Nashville premiered today on Amazon, Apple Music, iTunes, Pandora and Spotify and secured a spot on the Academy of Country Music's official ACM New Music Friday playlist. For this artist, actor model and fitness/outdoor enthusiast, he's excited to share his music and pursue this multi-faceted career path blazed by icons like Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton. Penned by Brandon, Blame It on Nashville provides listeners with a introspective look at what it's like to fall in and out of love in a creative hotspot like Music City.

“I wanted to personify the city of Nashville and make the words of the song translatable for people who have visited or live here," says Brandon. "When you have a city that’s centered around music and storytelling, you discover a town filled with people, whom for years have been leaving their hometowns to try to 'make it.' It creates a romantic energy that’s hard to put your finger on. That’s what I wanted to tap into lyrically and sonically with Blame It on Nashville.”

Brandon debuted the single with The Boot earlier this week and has been spotlighted in outlets like the Billboard, Digital Journal, Music Row, The Country Note and Stars and Guitars. While this release marks his debut push to the country music industry, fans have probably already seen him in ad campaigns for Marvel, Nike, Samsung and SONY or in his numerous TV appearances. Before making the move to Nashville, Brandon spent time in L.A. where he simultaneously pursued acting and modeling alongside his music securing spots in hit TV series like "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit," "McFarland, USA," and an ION holiday film "A Husband for Christmas."

Influenced by the sounds of Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw, as their hits dominated the airwaves during his childhood on his family's alfalfa and cattle farm in Oklahoma, Brandon's music has acquired a grassroots fan base playing clubs across the Midwest, California and the Southeast. About Brandon Collins

Reared on a cattle and alfalfa farm just outside of Oklahoma City, Brandon grew up on a radio dial that was filled with the hits of Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw.  Throughout his childhood and into his college years, he would traverse through a variety of sports from baseball to racing motocross and even served as a linebacker for the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.  Those years as an athlete laid the groundwork for his focus on fitness and a healthy outdoor lifestyle.  While he was excelling on the gridiron, he also picked up the guitar and began to hon his songwriting and performance craft. After college, Brandon made the move to the entertainment mecca of L.A. to pursue acting, modeling and music.  He would land campaigns for brands like Marvel, Nike, Samsung and SONY.  In addition, he secured roles on an ION holiday film “A Husband for Christmas” and on hit series like “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” and “McFarland, USA.” Brandon made the move to Nashville, Tenn. in 2019 and released his industry debut, Blame It on Nashville, under the production of Steve Freeman (Keith Urban, John Mayer, Taylor Swift & Tim McGraw) in August.
