Singer-songwriter and powerhouse performer Bucky Heard is excited to share the release of the

music video for his moving rendition of Roy Orbison’s timeless classic, “Crying.” The song is the only cover featured on Heard’s highly anticipated upcoming album and showcases both his vocal range and emotional depth.

The cinematic video follows the story of a man who falls so deeply in love that it scares him. Overcome by fear, he ends the relationship and breaks the heart of the woman he loves. As time passes, regret sets in, and he tries to win her back—only to discover she’s moved on. What unfolds is a soulful reflection on love, loss, and the haunting memories that remain.

“This was one of the most emotional projects I’ve ever been a part of,” Heard shares. “Filming it drained me completely, but what we created is heartfelt, cinematic, and deeply personal. I think fans will feel every moment of the story.”

Adding a fun nod to pop culture, the video features “Baby,” the exact replica of the 1967 Chevy Impala from the hit TV series Supernatural, courtesy of Scott Velvet at the Celebrity Car Museum in Branson, Missouri. Heard also credits his longtime collaborator, videographer Chris Canote, for helping bring his vision to life.

With “Crying,” Heard not only honors the timeless emotion of Orbison’s original but also infuses it with his own artistry — blending classic soul, powerful storytelling, and a modern cinematic edge.
