 Nashville-based artist, Caroline Kid, is wrapping up 2025 with the release of her cathartic new single “History,” available today, Friday, November 21, 2025. Blending contemporary country production with Americana soul, “History” marks the beginning of a new chapter for Caroline as she steps fully into her artistic identity: fearless, feminine and unapologetically herself. Co–written by Caroline, PJ Repetto and Sam Comfort, “History” unpacks the aftermath of a love built on ‘rich lies’ and ‘cheap words,’ all while reclaiming the narrative from a man who spent way too long rewriting his version of events. Speaking about the song’s inspiration, Caroline said, “‘History’ is a fun play on words. I think it’s all too common to find out someone’s out there telling a story about you, and you think, well, that’s not how I would tell it.”
