Just a 74 mile day trip east of Nashville sits a wonderful little gem called DelMonaco Vineyards. You can spend your afternoon hiking Cummins Falls and then get refreshed on some local wines.
They have a awesome wine list with very knowledgeable tour guides that really know their wine. I recommend the Noiret Wine and the Garden Cheese. Both are sold at the vineyard and you can request cups and a cheese board to enjoy the treats on their patio overlooking the vineyard.
