On the 19th, Imagination Library will be popping up in the hotel’s lobby to take donations, offer book giveaways, facilitate membership sign-ups, and sell Dolly bust ornaments. Founded in 1995 by Dolly herself, Imagination Library is a book-gifting program that gives free books to children from birth to age five in communities of need within the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Republic of Ireland.
Continuing the celebration throughout the week, Graduate Nashville is hosting a Dolly-themed mini market on Tuesday, January 19 and Saturday, January 23 from 10am-3pm in the hotel lobby featuring items from local tastemakers such as Sam Sidney, KCG Cookies, and The Tilly Goose. Regularly adorned with Dolly-inspired décor, the hotel will pay further homage to the legendary singer, actress, and humanitarian during Dolly Week through a unique balloon installation with Rock Paper Scissors.
