Did you think sausage balls could get even better? I sure didn't. I make them for every event and they're always a huge hit! I told my friends I was switching up my recipe a bit and they were reluctant until they tried them!

What you need --

1 Box of Red Lobster biscuit (comes out to around 2 cups- which is the perfect amount!)

1 16oz Roll of Sausage (I normally use hot but they're just as fantastic with mild)

1 8 oz Block of Cream Cheese (DO NOT leave this out..)

1 Cup of Shredded Cheese (I've used nearly every type of shredded cheese and you cannot go wrong here..I usually use the Mexican Shredded because that's what we always have in the refrigerator)

Parchment Paper

How to do it--

--Preheat oven to 350 degrees

--Warm block of cream cheese for 30 seconds in the microwave (This will make it much easier to mix)

--Mix together all ingredients with your hands (You can do this in any order I prefer to add the sausage last)

--Line baking sheets with parchment paper (not wax paper..not aluminum foil...not olive oil spray...parchment paper!) and roll mix into 1 inch balls leaving a little space in between each ball.

--Cook for 25 minutes

Tips--

*Don't leave out the cream cheese! They're so moist and it makes such a BIG difference!

*Did I stress how important it is to use parchment paper? I MIGHT be speaking from experience :)

*If you're using the Red Lobster Biscuit Mix it might only take 20-22 minutes or it could be my new oven.

*If they're browned on the bottom, then they're done. They'll continue to cook for a bit once you get them out.

*If you don't have access to the Red Lobster Biscuit Mix (aisle 10 at my Kroger haha) then you can always replace it with 2 cups of Bisquick.

Let me know if you give this recipe a try!!

XOXO

The step-by-step instructions made it so easy to follow, and I love how you included tips for making them extra flavorful. I can see myself trying this recipe for my next gathering. By the way, while exploring different ways to enjoy food, I recently went on some amazing Glacier Tours, which gave me a whole new appreciation for local ingredients and traditions. Your post inspires me to experiment in the kitchen and pair delicious dishes with memorable experiences. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
