8 Track Entertainment powerhouse country duo BoomTown Saints’ brand new single, “Good Day To Get Gone,” is available via all streaming platforms today. Singing the praises of seizing the moment and living life to its fullest, the bouncy new song was written by Noah Gordon, Jason Blaine McEwen and Willie Mack and is available to radio stations via Play MPE. Check out the official lyric video for “Good Day To Get Gone” here.

"We are excited to share this song with country music fans,” said BoomTown Saints’ Chris Ramos. “It encapsulates the high-energy, feel-good time we do our best to help our fans experience at our shows. It is a perfect ‘roll your windows down and cruise’ summer jam."

"This summer, we plan to kick off our shows with 'Good Day To Get Gone,’” added duo partner Ben Chism. “So far, the song has done an incredible job of setting the tone for what we want our audience to feel at a BoomTown Saints' event. We're anxious to 'Get Gone' and play it on the road for our fans.”

Named Music Row Magazine’s "#1 Independent Artist of the Year 2024," Chism and Ramos return with their trademark vocal harmonies and undeniable energy on “Good Day To Get Gone.” The new song follows the duo's chart-topping success with their hit, "Blacktop Don't,” which dominated the CDX True Indie Chart at #1 for an impressive 12 weeks and charted on Billboard’s National Country Radio Activator chart. Grammy-winning engineer, Noah Gordon, and noted producer, Gary Kraen, produced "Good Day To Get Gone" which promises to captivate listeners with its irresistible blend of traditional country elements and contemporary flair.

"Good Day To Get Gone"

“Just got my paycheck, I say we cash it

That city limit (sign), let’s blow right past it

Girl, put your sunglasses on

It’s a good day to get gone

We’ve always wondered what’s down that highway

And swear I hear it, it’s callin’ our names

We’ve put off leaving too long

It’s a good day to get gone

Let these wheels spin round

Baby, it’s time to take us some time

Before that sun goes down

Let’s chase it across that blue sky

The clock keeps on tickin’

And life is for livin’

So what are we waitin’ on

It’s a good day to get gone

That piece of heaven is out there somewhere

We’re gonna find it, we’re gonna get there

Baby that’s where we belong

It’s a good day to get gone

Let these wheels spin round

Baby, it’s time to take us some time

Before that sun goes down

Let’s chase it across that blue sky

The clock keeps on tickin’

And life is for livin’

So what are we waitin’ on

It’s a good day to get gone

Your bare feet on the dash

A Brooks and Dunn song

I’ll hit the gas

You sing along..."

About BoomTown Saints:

Listed amongst a handful of new artists in 2023 in Billboard’s “What’s New in the New Year,” BoomTown Saints has been winning over audiences nationwide since releasing their debut single, “All Trucks Go To Heaven.” The duo (Chris Ramos and Ben Chism) has been embraced by such noted media outlets as Billboard, Music Row Magazine, Music Connection Magazine, Grammy.com, Women's World, CMT.com, The Country Network, Taste of Country and others. BoomTown Saints released their self-titled debut EP in August 2023.

The duo paths first crossed at a gig when they were both performing as solo artists. An immediate synergy between the two quickly developed and led to the formation of BoomTown Saints in 2018. The two initially pursued careers outside of music -- Chris, as a healthcare consultant climbing the corporate ladder in the pharmaceutical industry, and Ben, who was headed to medical school after graduating with a degree in Biology on a full academic and baseball scholarship. After Ben won the regional Texas Country Showdown singing competition he went on to the Southeast USA contest and finished Top 10 in the nationwide event, the tide turned and he decided to take “music over medicine.” Likewise, after getting multiple cuts as a writer on albums ranging from pop, to country, to electronic music, Chris decided to pursue his dream in music and form a band.
