KENDELL MARVEL TAKES THE UK BY STORM AND RELEASES THIRD SINGLE OFF OF HIS CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED ALBUM

After the October 2017 release of his debut album LOWDOWN & LONESOME, Kendell Marvel hit the ground running and hasn’t stopped since. In the past three months Marvel has added performances, the release of his album in the UK through Snakefarm Records, topped with a UK tour with Brothers Osborne.

Taking his album overseas was a natural next move, and it has proven to be a successful one. Marvel received rave reviews of both his album and his opening performance on the tour. Entertainment Focus raved, “His growly vocals, rich lyrics and fantastic energy on stage all added up to a brilliant performance and the praise he’s been winning is well deserved.”

Now, Marvel releases the honky tonk rocker ‘Heartache Off My Back’ as his third single. “It’s an in your face song,” says Kendell; “It’s about throwing your hands up and saying to hell  with all this hurtin’.” Watch the official video for ‘Heartache Off My Back’ here.

Marvel shows no sign of slowing down-- the singer/songwriter is set to hit the road this summer with Jamey Johnson, Brothers Osborne and A Thousand Horses, and will be performing at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater with Cody Jinks as a part of September’s  Americana Music Fest.

Rolling Stone Country calls LOWDOWN & LONESOME a “bluesy, riff-heavy rocker that calls to mind the restless Southern rock of the Allman Brothers Band and Hank Williams Jr.’s whiskey-soaked howl.”
