LUCAS HOGE'S SERIES ON SPORTSMAN CHANNEL "HOGE WILD" DEBUTS IN CANADA



Beginning December 28, Canada will be going "Hoge Wild" every Friday at 10 p.m. CST on the Sportsman Channel, with multiple re-airings throughout the week. Hosted by Billboard No. 1 charting artist Lucas Hoge, the series follows the singer-songwriter on his epic adventures as he hunts, fishes, dives and performs across the world. Hoge, who is the creator and executive producer, shares his passion for wildlife conservation throughout the series, changing the narrative around the hunting lifestyle.

Season one of "Hoge Wild" premiered in the U.S. earlier this year. Throughout the ten episodes, the series documents Hoge as he performs overseas, duck hunts in Nebraska, hunts elk in Colorado, deep sea fishes in Puerto Vallarta and dives in the Cayman Islands.​ Hoge enlists some familiar faces throughout the series, inviting along friends and country duo The Swon Brothers for a hunt and hit songwriter Keesy Timmer on his first deer hunt.


"Hoge Wild" is produced by Forge Entertainment Group, Fall West Collective and Subspace Media. Partners for the series include Batteries Plus, Gamble Family Vineyards, GSM Outdoors, Stealth Cam, Muddy, GoPro, Walkers, Sherwood Scuba, OTS Ocean, Technology Systems, Akona Adventure Gear, Kanati Taxidermy, Music City Scuba and Freedom Boat Club.


In addition to his series premiering in Canada, Hoge is closing 2020 on top of Pollstar's Top 100 Livestreamers Year End Chart, landing in the Top Ten at No. 9. Hoge's weekly #SundaySessions dominated, spending more than 25 weeks in the Top 12 of Pollstar's weekly all-genre chart since the chart's inception in May.


A leader in livestreaming, Hoge has been bringing his weekly livestream #SundaySessions to fans for more than two years, before the COVID-19 pandemic caused a rise in popularity. #SundaySessions are live on Hoge's Facebook every Sunday at 8 a.m. CT. After amassing more than 25 million views, Hoge released live recordings of fan-favorite gospel songs "Sweet By and By" and "Power in the Blood" to streaming services. Most recently, Hoge released "It Wasn't His Child" just in time for the holiday season. January 2021 will see the full Sunday Sessions album release, a 10-track acoustic project inspired by the success of the weekly livestream.
