The inaugural Lynchburg Music Fest announces a new partnership with soft-drink industry leader, Coca-Cola, as an official beverage sponsor of the festival. “Having just announced the addition of Jack Daniel’s as a major sponsor, we’re equally excited to bring Coca-Cola on board too,” said Jonny Hill, Founder of Lynchburg Music Fest, and Owner and CEO of Igniter Productions. “To have an industry leader like Coca-Cola on board, supporting our event, is not only exciting but valuable to our festival-goers as well. People recognize the culture and traditions associated with the Coca-Cola name.”
The whiskey-cola combination won’t be the only exciting addition to Lynchburg Music Fest. The Boy Scouts of America have also set their eyes on the inaugural festival. As part of Lynchburg Music Fest’s commitment to engaging non-profit organizations for the event, local Boy Scout troops will be donating their time in exchange for donations to their troop, to get involved in the exciting weekend in Lynchburg.
Other participating non-profits include Moore County High School, Moore County High School Athletics, Moore County High School Band Boosters, Tullahoma Lions Club Charities, Smith Chapel United Methodist Church and Tullahoma Swim Club.
“When we set out to launch Lynchburg Music Fest, our primary goal was to give back to the Lynchburg community and create a family-friendly event,” Hill said. “By working with local non-profits, we’re able to provide them with valuable fundraising opportunities, as well as an exciting weekend of music and community involvement. Children under the age of 12 can attend Lynchburg Music Fest free of charge, and we can guarantee our festival-goers a fun, family weekend with an endless amount of music, events, and activities at the festival.”
New additions to the artist lineup include Sam Bush, Craig Campbell, Erin Enderlin, Ella Langley, Matt Warren and Tony Lane. The two-day music festival will take place next month, August 23 and 24, in historic downtown Lynchburg, with Easton Corbin to headline night one, and Jamey Johnson to headline night two.
Single-day tickets are available for purchase online at Lynchburg Music Fest’s official website, on-site at the festival, or at American Craft Distillers in Lynchburg.
