“There are thousands of federal employees in Nashville who are affected by the shutdown, and they’ve been on my mind,” said Ray. “M.L.Rose is a neighborhood spot, and this is a good opportunity to be a good neighbor.”
The ongoing $5 burger deal is available at M.L.Rose Capitol View, and federal employees affected by the shutdown must simply show their ID to their server. M.L.Rose Craft Beer & Burgers (then Melrose Neighborhood Pub) opened on December 9, 2008. All burgers are served with a pile of crispy, signature waffle fries. The menu is rounded out by simple pub food including indulgent sandwiches, top-voted nachos, as well as fresh, crisp salads and wraps.
