Do you have a family tradition you love to do each Christmas? If we are spending Christmas in the Carolina's with Kassie’s family, we always shuck fresh oysters on Christmas day. Troy’s family has a tradition of cheese coneys on Christmas Eve. What have you asked Santa for this year? For our two little twins to be healthy (coming in March!)
What was a popular gift that most children wanted when you were growing up? Did you have one? Kassie - I remember my brothers always wanted GI Joes or X-men. I never was into Barbies, I always wanted the latest technology, like I remember going crazy over this light up globe when I was 8 years old.
Troy – as far back as I remember, I always wanted yet another guitar haha

What about a favorite Christmas food? Do you cook a big Christmas dinner? Troy’s family in Kentucky always has a nice steak dinner. If we are in Nashville or back in the Carolina’s with Kassie’s family, we usually do a big ol’ country meal (ham, dressing, pecan pie, greens, cornbread, etc). Either way, the occasion is always centered around what we are going to eat, no matter where we are!
What is your favorite Christmas song/album? Kassie & Troy – "Holiday Road" by Lindsey Buckingham, The Drifters version of "White Christmas," "So This is Christmas" by John Lennon, "O Holy Night."

What have been the highlights for you from 2018?
We released two awesome singles off our upcoming album. Spent most of the year gearing up for the release of our first full-length album and our first vinyl record! We also got pregnant with twins which was a total surprise and so crazy and awesome! So it was a VERY productive year for us!
Any New Year's resolutions?
Troy and I both plan on losing this pregnancy weight as soon as our boys are born in March. Poor Troy has been keeping up with my crazy cravings, but thankfully we haven’t been too too bad! But I can’t wait to do sit-ups again!
What is 2019 going to look like for you?
2019 will definitely be a year to remember. With the birth of our boys, and the release of our album, “Sweet Rebellion,” we have a very busy and exciting year ahead of us! We are definitely in store for a wild ride with this one.
Troy Boy’s Holiday Ol’ Fashioned
Ingredients
sugar
orange wedge
1 oz cranberry simple syrup
ice
2 oz Rye Whiskey (or more if you’re feelin’ cray)
3-5 cranberries
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Instructions
Muddle cranberries and orange wedge in a glass.
Add rye whiskey and simple syrup.
Top with bitters and stir.
Add ice and enjoy!
Kassie’s Holiday Preggers Mocktail
Ingredients
1 12 oz frozen raspberry lemonade concentrate
3 cups cold water
1 cup fresh raspberries
1 bottle Sparkling Grape Juice
Instructions
Mix frozen lemonade concentrate with three cups water.
For ice cubes, sprinkle raspberries into an ice tray and slowly add raspberry lemonade mixture over them. Set remaining drink mix aside til later.
When ready to serve, add ice cubes to each glass and pour about 1 tablespoon of the raspberry lemonade mixture in the bottom of each glass.
Top off the glass with sparkling grape juice.
Add a strawberry or two for extra fruity goodness!
