Mother's Day Celebration at Nashville Zoo
Celebrate some of the hardest working people in the world and spend Mother's Day, Sunday, May 14, at Nashville Zoo. To show our gratitude, mothers visiting the Zoo will receive a free flower when they exit the Zoo. Activities throughout the day include a card creation station from K-LOVE Radio and performances by Nashville Opera on Festival Field. Please note that flowers and cards are available while supplies last.
Stroll the Zoo's pathways and spot some favorite mother and baby duos in their habitats. Venture through Kangaroo Kickabout and see the mothers with their joeys bouncing in and out of their pouches. Visit the spider monkey habitat and watch mom and Dottie, the Zoo's 1-year-old baby Mexican spider monkey, learn how to swing independently through the trees. Guests can also stop by the amphitheater at 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm for the Wild Works animal show and watch the Zoo's ambassador animals demonstrate their natural abilities.
Mother's Day celebration at Nashville Zoo is supported by BJ's Wholesale Club, K-LOVE Radio and the Nashville Opera. This event is included with general Nashville Zoo admission or membership. Please note that advance timed-entry reservations will be required for all guests including members. Learn more about time-entry and member reservations here.
