Featuring the fresh, bright and herbal, Ancho Reyes Verde, made using poblano chile, and the distinctive flavor of cucumber and rose petals of Hendrick’s Gin, this drink complements the new found spring weather with the refreshing taste of cucumber paired with the citrus blast of lime.
Ancho Gimlet
1 part Ancho Reyes Verde
1 part Hendrick’s Gin
2 part lime
½ part rich simple syrup (2:1 sugar:water)
Slice of cucumber
Add all ingredients to shaker, add ice and shake hard to chill and dilute. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a cocktail coupe, garnish with a cucumber wheel.
