OLE SMOKY AND YEE-HAW OPEN NASHVILLE DISTILLERY AND BREWERY

OLE SMOKY AND YEE-HAW OPEN NASHVILLE DISTILLERY AND BREWERY IN EXCITING SOBRO DISTRICT, FEATURING PRINCE’S HOT CHICKEN, WHITE DUCK TACO SHOP AND DAILY LIVE MUSIC

Tennessee's first legal moonshine brand — and the top-selling moonshine brand in the world — has partnered with Yee-Haw Brewing Co. to deliver a family-friendly, indoor-outdoor entertainment experience for both tourists and Nashville residents.

Ole Smoky, the makers of award-winning moonshine and whiskey, has opened the doors of their 30,000 square-foot distillery and retail complex at 423 6th Avenue, at the corner of 6th and Peabody, in Nashville's SoBro neighborhood. Launched in partnership with Yee-Haw Brewing Co., one of Tennessee's top craft breweries, the new location features a distillery, brewery, bars, tasting areas, merchandise, plus beer and bottle shops. Prince's Hot Chicken, the originator of hot chicken and a beloved Nashville institution, will feed hungry visitors from a food truck on site. Inside, a White Duck Taco Shop will serve up the brands innovative take on a diverse range of food classics.

The massive corner complex spans multiple buildings, providing both expansive indoor and outdoor seating areas, a rarity in downtown Nashville. Inside, couches and tables provide a comfortable vantage point for taking in Nashville teams on one of the largest TV screens in the city. Tasting areas and two bars offer 13 varieties of Ole Smoky moonshine and whiskey along with a range of Yee-Haw beers. Exposed rafters, brick walls and poured concrete floors are in keeping with the site's original industrial use, and oversized factory windows and roll-up doors provide an easy flow to and from the outdoor seating areas and stage.

“While we are a longtime Nashville restaurant, we have never had a presence in the downtown area,” says Semone Jeffries, Prince’s Hot Chicken co-owner, “Partnering with Yee-Haw and Ole Smoky is not only exciting for our customers but for us as well. We look forward to being a part of this venture and joining the SoBro neighborhood.”

The new venue will feature free live music daily, including a weekly Gospel Jubilee show every Sunday at noon produced by the Grand Ole Opry. The working distillery is now open and the brewery, which will open within 3 months, are both onsite and grant visitors visibility to the actual Yee-Haw and Ole Smoky production processes in action. Long-term plans include the addition of a roof deck atop the distillery building.

"With well over 4 million visitors to our existing East Tennessee distilleries, Ole Smoky is home to the most-visited distillery in the world," says Robert Hall, CEO of Ole Smoky."We look forward to welcoming even more visitors to this fantastic Nashville location bolstered by great live music and entertainment and the fantastic offerings from Yee-Haw Brewing and our food partners."

Doors are open to the public during the current "soft open" stage, and the facility is being promoted throughout Music City via local hospitality, transit, and outdoor signage, as well as through Yee-Haw and Ole Smoky's partnerships with Nashville sports teams, including the Predators, the Titans, and the Sounds.

“We’re excited to be a part of the Nashville experience! With our location just a couple of blocks off Broadway, I think we will appeal to locals as well as tourists,” says Joe Baker, Founder of Ole Smoky Moonshine and Yee-Haw Brewing Co. An official grand opening event is slated for later this Spring

About Ole Smoky Distillery LLC Ole Smoky is the leading craft distiller in the US and the first federally licensed distillery in the history of East Tennessee. Founded in 2010, Ole Smoky's roots can be traced to the Smoky Mountains' earliest settlers, families who produced moonshine with enduring pride and Appalachian spirit. In 2009, Tennessee laws changed, and suddenly, it was legal to make, distill and sell the infamous and illicit moonshine the region had become known for — and Ole Smoky was born, with products crafted from a century-old recipe. In 2016, Ole Smoky debuted its line of premium whiskeys, many of which have been launched nationally. Today, Ole Smoky retails globally and offers more than 25 creative moonshine flavors and 17 inventive whiskey flavors. Ole Smoky can be found at the company's distilleries, online, in grocery and liquor stores nationwide, as well as in on-premise establishments, including some of the biggest music and sporting venues in the country. Ole Smoky is the home to the most visited distillery in the world and in 2018 alone, more than four million people visited Ole Smoky's three famed East Tennessee locations: The Holler & The Barrelhouse in Gatlinburg and The Barn in Pigeon Forge. In 2019, Ole Smoky opened a fourth location in Nashville. For more information, please visit olesmoky.com and follow Ole Smoky on social media @olesmoky.
