Today, Drew Angus unveils his long-awaited debut album, Late To The Party — a bold, career-defining release that cements his evolution from breakout talent to one of indie music’s most magnetic voices. Produced alongside Grammy-nominated Bobby Holland and recorded at Pentavarit Studios in Nashville, TN, the album captures Angus at his most creatively fearless. Its cover, designed by Al Pascarelli, reimagines Angus as a Pez dispenser — a playful nod to Connecticut-based PEZ Candy Inc., located just minutes from his hometown — blending nostalgia with sharp artistic identity. With more than a million streams across his original catalog, multi-million YouTube views from high-profile collaborations, and national recognition as a finalist on American Idol, Angus doesn’t just return with Late To The Party — he arrives as a defining voice of his generation. Distributed by Symphonic, the album is available across all major digital and streaming platforms.

"Late To The Party really captures who I am as an artist," Angus explains. "It’s nostalgic in a lot of ways — inspired by the music that raised me, from my dad’s 6-CD changer to summer nights on the beach and back roads in Vermont — but it also reflects everything I’m feeling right now. I’ve dealt with anxiety, loss, and questioning everything, even whether I should quit and start over somewhere else. It’s broken cars, broken hearts, and growing up in real time. But there’s hope in it too. It’s about pushing through, like wildflowers in tough soil, and trusting that you’re on the path you’re meant to be on."

Tracklist:

1. "Wildflowers" (Andrew Angus, AJ Smith, Thomas Baldwin)

2. "Belmar" (Andrew Angus, Paul Tabachneck)

3. "Patterns" (Andrew Angus, Thomas Baldwin, Whitney Fenimore)

4. "Lost" (Andrew Angus, Thomas Baldwin, Brad Sample)

5. "Still Have You" (Andrew Angus, Thomas Baldwin, Reid Nix, Joey Whelan)

9. "Choose To Love You" (Andrew Angus, Alex Haddad)

10. "Keep Your Head Up" (Andrew Angus, Patryk Larney)

Anchored in a sound that bridges past and present, Late To The Party finds Drew Angus at his most reflective and self-assured—blending nostalgia with raw, present-day emotion into something both timeless and immediate. Fans can catch him live at the annual Rock by the Sea event and on additional tour dates.

Tourism Ireland artist showcase was a great read because it highlights how vibrant and far-reaching Irish music and culture have become, not just in Ireland but internationally. Events like this bring traditional and contemporary Irish artists together and give them a chance to share their work with new audiences, which is exactly what organisations like Tourism Ireland and Culture Ireland aim to do by supporting musicians and performers on stages around the world. For example, Culture Ireland regularly helps Irish folk and trad artists showcase at major international events like Folk Alliance International, where they perform for industry professionals and music lovers alike, helping to raise the profile of Irish music abroad.  Irish festivals and cultural gatherings have long bee…
