Tera Lynne Fister brings her emotional lyrics to life in this touching music video. Nothing is more important to her than her family. The Home music video is lovingly dedicated to her mother, who has passed away since the writing of the song. It opens with Tera traveling back to her childhood home, reminiscing on happy memories and simpler times. The video is even more special by the fact that her family was featured, including her father, brother, sister and brother-in-law, and nieces and nephews. The video was produced by Lexy Burke, who is also known for her viral “Serial Tipper” Tik-Toks. Written by Fister, Home creates a stirring of emotions and when paired with the video, will leave an impact on anyone who watches. The story is greatly personal to Tera. “Home is a song that was born from heartache. My mom woke up one morning and decided that since all of us kids were gone, her and my father no longer needed a three-bedroom house,” she reflects. “I reminisced on that house and the home it was for us. I laughed thinking about my mom catching my sister sneaking under the garage door on her back past curfew trying to be quiet - busted. I cried thinking about my mom’s office when she sat me down on the table and told me our favorite horse, Igor, had to be put down. I love that house. I’m so thankful to my parents for building it for us and providing a childhood of lessons and love in it.” Tera’s fondness of those memories comes flooding through with the tender delivery of the powerful and compelling lyrics. It is sure to be felt through the beautiful video. As the world is opening back up, Tera is so happy to be getting back to some socially-distanced shows, traveling and playing shows in New Jersey, Missouri, Illinois as well as her hometown of Nashville.
