"This is one of my favorite songs to play out live," says Shelby. "Can't Get There From Beer is a jam for sure. It was a blast to write this with Andrew Scott Wills and Keesy Timmer (Kelsea Ballerini's Yeah Boy). It reminds me of songs I’ve played in clubs since I started. It has the barroom, good time feel to it."

Shelby Lee Lowe continues to acquire accolades, sought-after opportunities, and rave reviews for his authentic country music. His previous releases have been featured on the Academy of Country Music's New Music Friday and Whiskey Riff's New Music Friday playlists. Within the music journalism community, he's received profiles and spotlights from the following: American Songwriter Magazine, Billboard, Everything Nash, Music Row Magazine, News Break, Pop Blitz Magazine, Raised Rowdy, Saving Country Music, The Country Note, The Country Scene, Today in Nashville (WSMV-TV [NBC]), Ty Bentli Show, Vents Magazine, WBKO-TV (ABC), WGGC-FM (Bowling Green, KY), Whiskey Riff, WMGQ-FM (New Jersey), etc.

“It’s easy to recognize the spirits of Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and Buck Owens in his sound. Yet, there’s also an edge to the Lowe style that wouldn’t seem out of place on an old college radio show in between cuts from Tarantino and Uncle Tupelo as well." - American Songwriter Magazine “If you’ve listened to any of Shelby Lee Lowe’s recent releases, it’s immediately clear that the rural Tennessee native has his own distinctive style: flat-out, true-blue country music that’s heavy on the honky-tonk and easy on the ears.” – Raised Rowdy "He has been on a serious roll since the beginning of 2018. Of the three singles he's released during this time, the Lewisburg, TN native has amassed nearly 220,000 streams” – Procountrymusic.com

About Shelby Lee Lowe This Possum Trot, Tenn. native, and father is a songwriter and performer who delivers a sound that can best be described as a modern adaptation of traditional country. Shelby would first pick up the guitar and start honing his craft in high school under the mentorship of his great uncle, a penitentiary worker who had formed a band with some of the inmates. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University’s Recording Industry program, Shelby has acquired publishing and booking deals since the release of his debut, self-titled album in 2016. Influenced by the Bakersfield sound, Shelby would find his own lane in the genre and put in the grassroots work securing opening slots for Charlie Daniels, Brett Young, Michael Ray, Chris Janson, Darryl Worley & Sister Hazel. He has also performed on stages and for branded partnerships such as the Bristol Motor Speedway, NASCAR's Speed Street (Charlotte, NC), Atlanta Braves, Sturgis, CMA Fest, The Harley Davidson Independence Day Bash, Jack Daniels and more. Shelby currently serves as a brand ambassador for Durango Boots, Kyser Capos, PRA Audio Systems & Tunz by Starkey Hearing Technologies. Using the quarantine time to create new music, he delivered an EP in 2020 titled Something in Me under the production wings of Andrew Scott Wills (Jerrod Niemann, Lucas Hoge & Stephanie Quayle). This Fall, he'll be premiering his latest album with Wills titled Stubborn Heart in September 2021.
