Rooftop Hotspot Kicks Off Weekend Brunch & Thursday Night Cultural Celebration
Nashville’s famed rooftop hotspot L.A. Jackson, named one of the best hotel bars around the world by Travel + Leisure and one of the essential bars in Nashville by Eater, is springing into the season with a brand-new Spring Brunch and the launch of Global Tropicál – a weekly celebration of world music and culture.
New Spring Brunch dishes include Gumbo & Grits; Croque-Madame with Benton’s country ham, gruyere, mornay, Texas toast and fried egg; Champagne Chicken – glitter chicken, French fries and Champagne ranch; and the Overhang Burger – a smash burger topped with fried egg, American cheese, caramelized onions, tomatoes, pickles and aioli, served with fries. Those opting for lighter dishes will enjoy Artisan Greens with cucumbers pickled shallot, radish, fine herbs and lemon vinaigrette and Avocado Toast with crispy quinoa, cherry tomatoes, radish and lemon. Move over cronut! L.A. Jackson now offers The Chooch – a decadent pastry featuring a house made flaky croissant, deep fried, then stuffed with Catalan cream and topped with cinnamon sugar! New boozy offerings include meticulously-crafted cocktails like Rose Colored Lenses – Cathead vodka, Lillet Blanc, lychee, raspberry, rosé and soda; Drunk in Love – Lunazul Blanco, Grand Marnier, Campari, watermelon and mint, served in a chili-rimmed glass; GF/DF – a gluten free and dairy free concoction with Gustoso rum, matcha, oat milk cacao, Licor 43 and pistachio. Of course, L.A. Jackson’s famed large-format cocktails are also on offer with new shareable sips (serving 4 or more) like There’s No X in Espresso, Drunk in Love and Devil in a New Dress.

The festive Thursday night party is a celebration of world music and culture with a rotating roster of guest DJs spinning tunes from across the globe. Kick things off with Spritz O’Clock from 5PM – 7PM with $10 Aperol Spritzes then continue the party with titillating tunes under the new disco ball. Also, on offer all day every Thursday, is a $12 specialty cocktail featuring Campari, Aperol or Grand Marnier. Admission is free and open to the public.
