Los Angeles-based Americana husband and wife duo, The HawtThorns, will perform twice in Nashville. First at 3rd and Lindsey for WMOT Finally Friday on August 16th and second at The Basement on August 17th in support of their debut record, Morning Sun, out August 9th.Â
The band recently premiered a new song, "Broken Wings", on The Boot. Before that another song "Rebel Road" has it's debut in Wide Open Country which lead singer KP Hawthorns describes as "an anthem for women who set out on the path less traveled despite any obstacles that may stand in her way".
The band's latest video for "Shaking" was featured in Rolling Stone Country's "10 Best Country, Americana Songs to Hear Now".
