Thank you for chatting with us! If you could only perform one of your songs for someone who has never heard of you, what song would that be?  "COASTIN’" because it’s the most fun and uplifting of all my songs with a summery, beachy vibe and I feel it captures my personality the most.

Is there one song in particular you're most excited about people hearing?  "IN THE CITY" because it’s about my original hometown, Pittsburgh, PA, and hopefully it captures the excitement I feel when I’m headed there. There’s nothing like a night on the town!

Is there anyone in your family that you can credit as being instrumental in your decision to go into the music field?  My mom used to drag me to my older sister’s school chorus concerts and variety shows and I think that’s where I really got interested in singing and performing.  I couldn’t wait for my chance to be on that stage.  I was five years behind her so I had to wait a while but eventually I got my chance and I was always auditioning for solos in all the shows which went pretty well for me fortunately.

Which song off of your EP is the most dear to you and why?  "PROUD OF ME" because it shows a much more intimate and vulnerable side of me that is rarely exposed in my songwriting.  Most of the time I’m working with a co-writer that is providing me with the music to inspire me but this song was written with lyrics and melody first so it’s 100% inspired by my own thoughts and feelings.

When/where do you do your best writing?  Walking in the woods near my home.  I’ll just play the music that I’m writing to over and over again while I walk and an idea will usually pop up.  I’m definitely inspired by immersing myself in nature and the great outdoors.

What is an example of a menu you would prepare if I came over? Roasted tuna steak or salmon with Mediterranean style toppings (cherry tomatoes, black olives, mild pepper rings, goat cheese, and balsamic dressing) with side sishes of greens and beans (must be collard greens) and roasted broccoli.

Favorite music to listen to while you cook?   Definitely Sinatra

Home cooking or going out for dinner?  I probably prefer going out to dinner if I’m being honest.

Where is your favorite place to eat in your hometown? I have two actually.  Nap’s Cucina Mia is a small family owned restaurant in Indiana, PA where I live. It’s an Italian Chophouse serving fabulous fish and steaks. I love their puttanesca sauce which they serve on homemade pasta, PERFECTION!  Benjamin’s Restaurant is also in downtown Indiana, PA and they serve a variety of wonderful dishes, Ben’s Bangin’ shrimp is a favorite, but the casual outdoor ambience is the best. I’ve had the great pleasure of performing on their patio many times over the years and it’s always so much fun and a really cool environment.

If you could be sponsored by one food/drink brand who would it be and why?  WHOLLY GUACAMOLE AND/OR SMASHED AVACADO MINI CUPS because I love avocado but it goes bad so quickly.  These little cups allow me to have avocado or guac at my fingertips which I will typically dig into multiple times a day.  I drink tea in the morning so I’m usually not hungry until around noon and that’s when I’ll make avocado toast; two poached eggs with avocado or guac on gluten free bread, salt and pepper too of course! YUM!
