Thank you so much for chatting with us! Where did you grow up and how has that influenced your style of music? I am from Wilmington, NC. (It's a beach/college/party town) so I grew up listening to punk and metal bands, but with my parents influence I landed somewhere in the middle with hard rock with angst fueled lyrics.
Is there one song in particular you're most excited about people hearing? On the upcoming EP I have a song called "Cliche" I'd like everyone to check that one out as you can tell I was pissed off singing and playing that one. Haha
Aside from singing do you play any instruments? On my upcoming EP, I wrote, sang, and played all the instruments.
When/where do you do your best writing? I do my best writing in the studio as I am building the songs, I jot down the premise and roll from there, it's a stressful thing to try and pull off due to eating studio time/money if I fall into writers block.
What's the best advice you have ever gotten from another musician? Don't buy cheap equipment. It makes you sound cheap no matter how good you may sound.
What was the best piece of advice you've ever been given about pursuing a career in music? Don't get your hopes up, keep your head down and stay on the grind, eventually people will notice you.
Was there ever music playing in the kitchen growing up? Absolutely! My parents were separated so when I was with my mother is was always Motown and with my father it was always some kinda Southern Swamp Rock.
What is one food that most people seem to like, but you cannot stand to eat? Deviled Eggs! Gross!
What is your favorite sandwich? Cheesesteak, and from J Michael's Philly Deli. Wilmington, NC.
Where is your favorite place to eat in your hometown? This it a tough call! I'd have to go with PT's, it's a flame grill please that has the most amazing hangover food. (Extra Fries Please!)
If I was a bartender, what would you order? T-N-T (Tanqueray and Tonic)
