Thank you for chatting with us Kylie! You recently released your new single, "Can't Be Lonely," that you also co-wrote. Tell us about the writing process and where the idea came from. The idea behind “Cant Be Lonely” stems from past relationships I have been in as well as relationships that I have seen other people go through. I co-wrote this song with Willie Morrison and our goal was to call out all the guys who just use girls for a good time. It was a super fun song to write and even more fun to blast after recording!

If you could only perform one of your songs for someone who has never heard of you, what song would that be? If I could only perform one of my songs to people, it would probably be “Cant Be Lonely.” It is my favorite released song of mine right now and I love jamming to it.

Do you have any pre-show rituals? Before every show, I always drink honey or eat a honey sucker to coat my throat. I love honey & it works great for long shows!

Did you have a musical mentor? If so, who was it and how did they influence you? Growing up I went to a vocal coach and she really inspired me to push my limits and believe in myself. Love you, Rhonda!

What’s your advice for young artists trying to establish a name for themselves? Especially young females that may see you as a role model. My biggest advice for young artists, especially young females, is always stay true to yourself and never give up. This is a real tough industry and it takes hard work. Some days you’ll find yourself wanting to quit, but try to remember the bigger picture and stick with it.

At the end of the day, what do you hope is the message of your music? What do you hope people take away from your songs? At the end of the day, I just hope that my music can inspire people in some way. My goal is for my music to be able to help others the same way that music has helped me throughout my life. I hope people take away that they are enough and that they are always worth it.

Was there ever music playing in the kitchen growing up? Totally! Growing up I would constantly listen to music. My grandma used to play the country countdown on our TV all day long.

Where is your favorite place to eat in your hometown? My favorite place to eat in my hometown is honestly Chick-Fil-A. We don’t have many restaurants around here, but Chick-Fil-A never misses. Except on Sundays.

Most memorable meal while touring. Where were you and what did it involve? The most memorable meal while touring was probably a breakfast I had while playing in Big Bear, CA. We ordered pancakes and they were bigger than my head!

What is one food that most people seem to like, but you cannot stand to eat. Pickles! I can't stand them or their smell!

Finally, if you could be sponsored by one food/drink brand who would it be and why? If I could be sponsored by one drink brand it would hands down be Arizona! I’m always drinking Arizona teas. They’re my absolute favorite!
