Village Den now open in NYC

Village Den 225 West 12th Street (Greenwich Ave.) New York, NY 10011 646.952.0018 @thevillageden | www.thevillageden.com

IT TAKES A VILLAGE  Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski along with restaurateurs Eric Marx and Lisle Richards of The Metric, open the Village Den, a fast casual, counter-service restaurant located in the heart of Manhattan’s West Village. This new iteration of the original Village Den, a neighborhood mainstay on West 12th Street, was born out of the trio’s passion for serving their community with enticing and nutritious comfort food.

WHAT WE CRAVE The flavorful, market-driven menu accommodates different styles of mindful eating at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The morning menu features items such as the Greenwich Breakfast Bowl with poached eggs, sweet potato hash browns, kumato, grilled avocado, pickled shallot + cilantro and Almond and Walnut Pancakes with maple roasted banana + maple syrup. An assortment of salads, bowls and reimagined TV Dinners are offered throughout the day. The TV Dinners offer a selection of protein and sides, such as macadamia crusted fish sticks with cider-braised cabbage or maple parsnip mash. Salads + bowls feature a variety of flavors, like the Den Mother with baby kale, maple roasted squash, pomegranate, beet hummus, cauliflower, lentils, pepitas + pickled apricots, and the Thai Chicken bowl with coconut peanut sauce, purple cabbage + cilantro over lemongrass brown rice. A selection of For Five Coffee Roasters' coffee and teas are available all day with cold brew coffee and raspberry tea on tap, along with a selection of smoothies like The Big Porowski with greek yogurt, banana, dates + lime zest and the Breadless PB&J with almond milk, banana, crunch peanut butter, rolled oats, blueberries, raspberries + vegan protein.

WEST SIDE STORY The Village Den, designed in collaboration with Buro Koray Duman, is the West Village's newest neighborhood hang, with a friendly, casual vibe that’s bright and airy, yet cozy and familiar. Along the main wall of the dining room you’ll find a custom designed mural by Artist Studio Jeremyville, inspired by the spirit of downtown NYC, the Den’s cuisine and elements of the team’s personal lives, enforcing the essence of community at the Village Den.  Opening Hours: Open 7 days a week, 11am-10pm Breakfast service to follow.
