Thai Esane: I don’t know about you, but these cold dreary days have me craving Thai food! Three great soup options on Thai Esane’s menu including Tom Yum (hot and sour soup with bell pepper, shrimp and mushroom), Tom Kai (coconut-based soup with chicken, mushroom and bell pepper) and Wonton (house-made chicken wontons in savory broth. Cup of soup is

$6-7 depending on variety and $13-15 for the bowls.

Chef’s Market: Chef’s Market (Nashville’s top-ranked caterer) offers chicken tortilla soup, clam chowder and a daily soup feature Monday through Saturday at their Goodlettsville restaurant. All soups are served with a choice of a homemade roll (butter roll, herb roll – my personal favorite, or cornbread) or toast points. Their house made soups are priced at $2.99 for a cup and $4.50 for a bowl.

Yada: This Clarksville hot-spot recently expanded to a larger space serving an expanded menu, including full-service dinner with handcrafted pastas, wood-fires pizzas and a cicchetti menu. This is the area’s first cicchetti restaurant, which is Venetian small plates that encourage familial dining. They offer a bowl of their soup of the day for $5. Speaking of….they’ll be having a Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, Jan. 16. Guests will receive a free medium latte with a breakfast plate or sandwich from 8-11 a.m., as well as a lunch special (details to come!) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

McCabe Pub: This Sylvan Park neighborhood favorite starts offering two homemade soups every day during the winter, not to mention rotating Fridays of Pot Roast and Pork Loin for some additional winter comfort foods!

McCabe Pub’s Spicy Cream of Chicken Noodle Soup! They make all of their soups in house, and they change daily.

Mason’s and Mason Bar at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel offers a warm, hardy and healthy vegetarian soup option on their all day menu. Their White Bean & Kale soup was dreamed up by Chef Patrick Gossett and features house-made vegetarian stock, white beans, kale, mirepoix and is topped with fresh herbs and shaved parmesan. $11.

Located in the heart of The Gulch, Otaku Ramen offers delicious traditional American ramen. Our favorite is the spicy miso paired with the most AMAZING hot chicken buns.

Vui’s Kitchen offers a range of Vietnamese favorites including the Nashville favorite - Pho noodle soup. The twelve-hour bone broth or vegan broth with fresh herbs are also great choices sure to warm you right up!

Amerigo offers both Shrimp Bisque or a soup of the day - Cup 4 Bowl 6.5. They have convenient locations in Brentwood and Nashville serving lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. There are early bird specials offered daily.

Mas Tacos Por Favor offers one of the best chicken tortilla soups in the entire city. They are located at 732 Mcferrin Ave. Nashville and open Tuesday - Saturday! Just GO!
