NYC EXPANSION Today, James Beard Award-winning chef Marco Canora expands his pioneering bone broth company Brodo to a brick-and-mortar broth shop on the Upper West Side. This is Brodo's fourth location and follows the February debut of its newest window on Lafayette Street in SoHo. A first-of-its-kind tap system dispenses chicken, beef, Hearth and vegan seaweed mushroom broth on demand, served hot in paper cups to sip on the go. Any of the four broths can also be combined with fresh ingredients to create drinks such as the Tom Yum (chili oil, coconut milk, lime, curry spice blend) and Deeply Rooted (ginger, fresh turmeric) or customized using other add-ins like coconut oil, grass-fed butter, bone marrow and roasted garlic. All broths are made from scratch the traditional way, using 100% grass-fed beef, organic poultry and whole organic vegetables and slow-simmered for up to 24 hours in small batches. Customers can also stock up for home with cold broth in 30 oz. reusable glass jars, or 10 oz. and 30 oz. frozen, never shelf-stable containers.
