COREY SMITH RELEASES "DOWN EASY," THE FIRST TRACK OF MANY TO BE PRODUCED IN HIS HOME STUDIO

Songwriter, artist, and producer - Corey Smith continues to push the boundaries of his creative process by producing his new single, “Down Easy” in his newly assembled home studio. Located in Jefferson, GA, the town Smith that grew up in, his new setup offers Smith complete creative control of new music from the first word written to the last note mixed.  The song can be heard here: http://smarturl.it/DownEasy “This is the first single that I’ve been able to produce in my home studio,” said Smith. “I’ve gotten better at using producing as an extension of the songwriting.” Written while sitting on Smith’s back porch, the song focuses on the light at the end of the metaphorical tunnel and celebrates that which keeps you going through hardships. “Sometimes shit’s disappointing,” says Smith. “Down Easy” is about how we cope with the less than desirable outcomes that life can throw at us. In my case, it’s the love of my family that keeps me going on a hard day.” Corey Smith continues moving his Great Wide Underground tour across the country in 2019.  New this year, fans in select cities will be able to experience the live show in intimate settings with the addition of solo acoustic performances and acoustic trio sets.
