Known for her powerhouse vocals and unapologetic Southern sass, country singer Becca Bowen is back with her single that’s been getting boots moving on the dance floor. We caught up with the rising star to talk about her latest track “Bettin’ On You,” her favorite Nashville spots, and what’s in store for the rest of 2025.

Can you share the inspiration and story behind your latest release, “Bettin’ On You”? Writing "Bettin' On You" with my guitar player, Sam Woods, was such a fun experience. I came in with this idea of taking risks when it comes to love—and we built the song around the visual of a poker game. It’s about going all-in on someone and hoping for the win. From the start, I knew I wanted it to echo that '90s country sound, something you could line dance to. I think we hit the nail on the head with this one!
Can we expect more new music coming soon?
Absolutely! I have more music on the way, and my next single might surprise some of my fans. It’s much more vulnerable and really taps into my Southern roots. I’m excited for everyone to hear this new side of me.

What are some of your favorite Nashville restaurants or local spots you love to visit?
I love catching shows at the Ryman and the Grand Ole Opry. It’s so inspiring to see where the greats have performed—and to dream about standing on those same stages. Those places fuel me creatively and keep me motivated.
What’s your go-to summer meal or drink here in Music City?
I’m a simple girl—give me a good cheeseburger and an ice-cold Coca-Cola and I’m happy! I love going to The Diner in Nashville. It’s got a great vibe and it hits the spot every time.
How do you like to spend your summer days when you’re not working—any favorite activities or getaway spots?
You can usually find me back in my hometown on Lake Murray. I love getting out on the boat, soaking up the sunshine, and doing a little fishing. It’s the perfect way to reset.
What’s one memorable summer experience or vacation that has inspired you recently?
This summer, I spent some time in Beaufort, SC, just relaxing and unplugging. That time away really helped me clear my mind and sparked a lot of creativity. I came back refreshed and ready to write—I have so much in the works for the rest of the year.
