July 19 – National Daiquiri Day

Cheers to the unofficial drink of summer with the award-winning Nicaraguan rum, Flor de Caña. The flavors of fig, vanilla, oak, toasted coconut and red fruits in Flor de Caña 7 make it the perfect addition to this fruity summer cocktail.

Flor de Caña Pineapple Daiquiri

2 parts pineapple juice

⅓ part fresh lime juice

⅔ part extra-fine sugar

Method: Combine the pineapple juice, rum, lime juice, sugar, and ½ cup ice in a cocktail shaker and shake to chill. Strain into a stemmed cocktail glass. Garnish with pineapple wedge.
