Nicky's Coal Fired to Host Mijo Gordito Pop-up

Nation’s Italian Restaurant to Host Mexican Cuisine Pop Up

Italian restaurant, Nicky’s Coal Fired, located in The Nations, is hosting a Mijo Gordito pop-up on Tuesday, July 21st from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM for dine-in service and take-out. Guests will be able to order from a variety of Mexican fare that includes Carnitas, Pork Rib, and Redfish Tacos, along with Shrimp Ceviche Toast and Pulpo a La Diabla — a combination of spicy broth, octopus, and diver sea scallops ceviche. Specialty coal-fired pizzas will also be available with toppings like braised beef, Asadero cheese, Salsa Verde and Pico de Gallo. Nicky’s Coal Fired’s full cocktail menu will be available along with a few unique cocktail creations.

WHO: Nicky’s Coal Fired is owned by Chef Tony Galzin and Caroline Galzin. The Italian staple located in The Nations is home to Enrico, the only coal-burning oven in Tennessee. The restaurant is known for their Italian fare including coal-fired pizzas, homemade pasta and fresh antipasti.
