Pennington Distilling Company, an award-winning spirits distillery, celebrates is fourth annual Davidson Reserve “Hardest Harvest” and releases two new Davidson Reserve Tennessee Bourbon Whiskey expressions on Saturday, October 17, 2020. This special date, October 17, marks the anniversary of the laying of Pennington Distilling Company’s first barrel of whiskey down to age. Each year on the anniversary of this special date, the distillery releases various whiskey expressions. The first whiskey is a special release of Davidson Reserve Bourbon which is the first Pennington Distilling Company's small-batch expression of its wheated bourbon and is a blend of 5 and 6-year-old bourbons. The second expression is their annual release of Davidson Reserve Genesis. The 2020 Genesis is aged 6 years and is “Bottled in Bond”. This long-awaited Pennington Distilling Company's high rye is one of Nashville’s first locally distilled six-year-old Tennessee bourbons since Prohibition. Both products are products 100% locally distilled. Jeff and Jenny Pennington, co-founders of Davidson Reserve, state “We are very excited about the release of our Davidson Reserve Genesis.
