Singer-Songwriter, Caroline Dare, Reveals What's Inside her Refrigerator

Up-and-coming singer, Caroline Dare, talked with us on how she maintains a healthy lifestyle with a secret look inside her refrigerator!

Dare told us, "I follow a whole foods, plant based diet. I stay active by going to the gym 2-3 times a week and I love to take long walks for 45-90 mins nearly everyday. I love to make my own meals at home! I eat lots of fruits and smoothies. I drink tons of water throughout the day and I try not to stay up too late."

Refrigerator staples:  "I always have almond milk, dates berries, and leafy greens in my fridge!!"

CAROLINE DARE’S ACAI BOWL ingredients: 1 & 1/2 frozen banana 1 pack frozen acai 1/2 cup frozen cherries 1/3 cup frozen mixed berries 1/3 cup frozen pineapple 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

*I don’t use exact measurements when making my bowls, I kind of just eyeball it and throw it into the blender. adjust the measurements if necessary!*

Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, stop and scrape the sides. add more almond milk if necessary.

Put your smoothie in a bowl & top it with fruits, nuts, seeds, or whatever your heart desires. I usually drizzle a bit of agave syrup on top of everything after I put on my toppings for a little extra sweetness.

Serve immediately & enjoy!
